Before treatment
- Tell your provider about medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy or plans to become pregnant, and all medications and supplements you use
- Do not use a prescription that was not prescribed for you
- Complete any requested laboratory testing and answer intake questions accurately
- Ask your provider or pharmacist if you do not understand dosing, storage, interactions, or missed-dose instructions
GLP-1 weight-management treatments
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved products. They may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, and other adverse effects. Serious risks may include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, kidney injury, severe gastrointestinal reactions, low blood sugar when combined with certain diabetes medicines, allergic reactions, and potential thyroid C-cell tumors. Do not use a GLP-1 treatment if you or a family member has had medullary thyroid carcinoma or if you have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2.
Hair-loss treatments
Finasteride can cause sexual side effects, mood changes, fertility-related effects, breast changes, and allergic reactions. Pregnant people or those who may become pregnant should not handle crushed or broken finasteride tablets. Minoxidil may cause scalp irritation, unwanted hair growth, dizziness, swelling, rapid heartbeat, or changes in blood pressure. Seek care for serious symptoms.
Sexual-wellness treatments
PDE5 inhibitors such as sildenafil and tadalafil must not be used with nitrates and may be unsafe with certain heart conditions or medications. Risks include headache, flushing, indigestion, dizziness, vision or hearing changes, low blood pressure, and prolonged erection. Seek emergency care for an erection lasting more than four hours, sudden vision or hearing loss, or chest pain.
NAD+ and Sermorelin
Compounded NAD+ and Sermorelin products are not FDA approved. Risks and evidence vary by formulation and route. Side effects may include injection-site reactions for injectable products, headache, flushing, dizziness, nausea, or allergic reaction. Use only the dose and route prescribed, and report concerning symptoms to your provider.
